A Prayer

I want you to touch me deep within

Touch me where it hurts

There’s parts of me that do not know you.

So young they cannot speak. And even if they did.

Wouldn’t dare, to under your name.

The deaf, mute and blind,

The ones I’ve rejected inside

Oh Lord, come in like a landslide

Or like a whisper

However, you like (if you want)

Just lay your hand on my mind

And touch me where it hurts.
