Tree by the Water

A mind so restless to go farther,

So meticulous, strong and rigid-

Like a tree that grew by the water.

A character, quick to say “never”,

To all the incomprehensible,

Like a tree hovering over the water.

How does a heart grow a bit softer

Making way for Light between the green,

Asks the tree that leans towards Water

Until it can not hold on longer.

Oh Lord have Mercy on the soul of,

The tree that crashed into the water.

How does one give sufficient honor?

Soaking the Light that should've been for,

The tree that surrendered to the water.
